I took my fiancé here for Father's day breakfast. when we ordered our food we were informed that they were out of biscuits and gravy. And they were out of steak which was their breakfast special for Father's Day. We waited 35 minutes before our food arrived I had ordered strawberry crepes which look like fat pancakes rolled up with a ton of this creamy sauce that lacked luster or any real good flavor. I had ordered my eggs over easy and one of them came practically hard cooked and busted. my fiance had ordered the corned beef with sauerkraut and eggs and it was not anything to write home about. we told the waitress we were not happy with our breakfast. She offered to replace it but at that point we were hungry and we didn't want to wait another 35 minutes before we got to eat. They gave no apologies the service was mediocre at best. Save your money you'd be better off going to McDonalds eating at this dive.

If your order is screwed up, first of all your waitress should graciously apologize and kindly offer to have it redone properly. Secondly, regardless of whether the customer sent the food back or accommodatingly accepted the food as is (which I did) I believe 2-3 dollars should be taken off the bill (because that won't break any restaurant owner and it keeps customers coming back)....OR offer a coupon of some sort. None of the above happened here. If you don't treat the customer well and try to make right a wrong, the restaurant will NOT last long. Additionally, the sourdough toast looked fine but smelled and tasted moldy and the waitress definitely did not seem like she was happy to be there. I can make breakfast at home and save a lot money, if I go out for breakfast it's for the food and the service...both if which should be good.

Wasn't impressed at all. Hardly anyone in there and it took nearly 10 minutes to get our order placed. Portions were tiny for the amount you pay. Potatoes were really oily. Not once did our server come fill our water up. Won't be back.

SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMEWHERE MUCH BETTER!!!! We tried this place in January 2015, to give them time to work out any kinks in opening the restaurant back in late Nov. What a disappointing experience! I would give them no stars if that were an option. First the food...We each ordered a traditional bacon and eggs breakfast, something I thought could not be screwed up by the worst of them. Well, I'm here to tell you, pay a high price ($10) for little food. Three small strips of bacon, two I swear size small eggs (have never seen such small eggs), a couple of forkfuls of half-cooked hash browns, and ONE slice of toast cut in half. We ordered three additional slices of bacon (they don't have a side for bacon) and they charged us $1.75 per slice! The server brought the side bacon to us two times very under cooked and the third time after we had completed our entire meal. We refused the additional bacon at that point and they took the $1.75 per slice off the bill. Now the Service...Other than bringing us raw bacon two times, not getting the toast order right, and never available for refilling coffees, the service was mediocre at best. Some tables around us though had a different server and we noticed their service was exceptional. And by the way, the restaurant was not full by any means. Every other restaurant on the street was packed. We understood when we left why. In short, don't go here if you want good food, a relatively decent and what I would call a normal restaurant portion, and want to leave not hungry. We always try to support the "Mom and Pop entrepreneurs" rather than the chains, but in this case we won't be going back. And I'll be surprised if their in business long unless something changes.

A good little place to eat breakfast or lunch. Service is fast, coffee is hot and food is homemade! Great for kids too. Menu has alot of variety and kids meals are around 3.50. Really enjoy taking the family here and have yet to be disappointed!

GROSS!!! Food over cooked, fries were unseasoned and droopy eggs were brown and toast was burnt and what the heck is freezer jam not to mention the flies all over the place.I loved looking a spider webs and 6 inches of dirt all over the windows. The cook needs to put a hat on and wash his hands and go back to school and learn how to cook.Since there is so much construction going on you get your construction workers eating and cussing up a storm so if you have kids cover their ears and be prepared to have tums on hand cause you will need them.I MISS SIDE STREET PLACE!!!DUELING IRONS by far the worst place to eat !UGH

Wish I could actually review the food but considering I never received service, can't write about anything but the service, or lack there of. A man asked me "one?", then walked to, I mean, passed a table and dropped the menu on it and continued to walk without looking at me or even suggesting for me to sit there with the exception of the menu being tossed on the table. I then sat at the table for approximately 10 minutes. 3 servers passed by me, not a single one acknowledged me. So, I sat there for the 10 minutes with absolutely NO service or even a "I'll be with you in a moment". Did I mention they weren't even busy!? Needless, to say, I walked out. Any place of service that doesn't have the training to acknowledge their customers will never have my business nor a positive review!

Nice menu selections. Had the crepes and they were wonderful! Get a half order as the filling is so rich! Husband had eggs and ham breakfast. Thickest slices of ham we've seen in a restaurant! Wonderful flavor. Eggs done perfectly. Get a free drink if you "like" them on Facebook.

I don't know how in the world this place managed to average two stars. When we were seated(a party of five) my wife looked at her place setting and noticed that someone had stirred their coffee with the spoon and set it down on the napkin. Evidently the server didn't clear what they thought was unused silverware from the table after the last party had left but, the spoon was obviously used and the napkin it was sitting on had a coffee stain. Shame on me, that should have been my first clue to leave. After ordering came the second clue. Waiting....., more waiting...., more waiting......, waiting some more.... finally breakfast was served. It took over an hour from the time of ordering, in a restaurant that was at about 60% capacity. When our food did finally come my wife had no whipped cream on her crepes (she was charged extra), my grandson had no toast, my daughter's over medium eggs were undercooked (slimy) and her boyfriend got toast instead of the English muffin he had ordered. CONGRATULATIONS! A solid 80% screw-up rate. We ate our meal and waited...., waited again...., for our checks (asked for two separate checks), guess what? Yep, all on one. Our poor server was constantly apologizing to everyone in his area for the long waits and messed up orders. He has my sincerest sympathies. That unenviable job has to be absolutely miserable. Do yourself a favor: STAY AWAY! Don't even give it a chance. You've been warned. Without a doubt, my WORST dining experience ever. Oh well, now the good news. The city of Post Falls should soon have a new place for breakfast. I see no way in hell these guys will be able to stay open

My husband and I went there for breakfast yesterday. We were greeted by a young gentleman who asked us of we wanted to sit down. Ummm, no I'd like to stand here staring into space...of course we'd like to sit down. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We started with coffee while we looked over the menu. Honestly that was by far the worst coffee I've ever tasted. I expected middle of the road basic diner coffee, but that stuff was beyond awful. On top of the terrible coffee, our water cups were filthy. They had finger prints on them as well as what look like pancake batter that had splattered on the cups. The menu was a bit sparse and confusing. The top of the menu says ALL breakfasts included potatoes and toast. I ordered the pancakes and asked for hashbrowns. I was told it didn't come with potatoes or toast. The waitress apologized and said several of the breakfasts actual didn't come with potatoes and toast. Hmmm, then maybe someone should print some new menus that are clearer for the customers. The food itself wasn't bad. Pretty similar to what I've ordered at an IHOP or dennys. Honestly I'd never go back. I like a decent cup of coffee with my breakfast and a menu that has a few more options and that is less confusing.
